Primary Responsibilities
- Proactively analyze the unique requirements of different companies, present the overall design and working mechanism of the machines (such as High Precision Fastener Sorting Machine, Servo Motor Tapping Machine, Friction Welding Machine, Cold Forming Machine, Thread Rolling Machine, etc.) to customers and follow up on projects
- Identify detailed requirements such as machine specifications and process specifications as well as installation and service limits for manufacture and quality control, participate the feasibility studies, and translate them into detailed engineering specifications and requirements, generate the design with Computer-Aided Design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Develop performance based supplier surveillance techniques, apply knowledge of quality engineering to analyze requirements of contracts, drawings and specifications and develop plans for the application of quality control
- Evaluate the functionality and efficiency of the machine based on the sample and its drawings provided by customer, then prepare evaluation reports including but not limited to the dimensional and functional tolerance
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers to solve technical problems and implement solutions of certain complexity (such as, revise and update machine PLC program; adjust fiber optic and fiber optic amplifier sensitivity; troubleshooting servo motor issues; identify and solve current short on the switchboard, etc.)
- Prepare product and service specifications as well as the translation for new product technical reports
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 2 years related experience
